Blue Cheese

A bit of Blue with Truffle Honey and Figs

Ingredients

  • 125g wedge King Island Dairy Endeavour or Tasmanian Heritage Deep Blue cheese
  • 4 ripe fresh figs, cut in half
  • truffle honey or lavender honey, for drizzling
  • sliced ciabatta or crusty bread, for serving
  • dessert wine, for serving

Method

Remove the cheese from the refrigerator 30 minutes-one hour prior to serving so it comes to room temperature. Carefully cut the cheese into four slices and place onto individual serving plates. Drizzle each slice of cheese with a teaspoon of honey and serve immediately with figs, crusty bread and a sticky dessert wine.
